Westica Communications, a Glasgow-based specialist in microwave and radio networks, has been acquired by Serbus, and ICT infrastructure managed services company for an undisclosed sum.
Serbus is backed by Aliter Capital, the private equity ‘buy and build’ specialist with offices in Glasgow and London. Westica is the fourth acquisition by Serbus since December 2022.
Founded in Glasgow in 1994, Westica works with customers operating in some of the UK’s most demanding critical national infrastructure (CNI) environments including utilities, ‘blue light’ services, government, transport, and oil & gas.
Its directors Stevie Dynes and Andy Hunwicks are remaining with the business, working closely with Serbus and Aliter which is focused on adding further acquisitions and supporting the company’s organic growth.
