Son of founder takes reins at Randolph Hill group – Daily Business

Brodie Nichol: new MD

Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group has appointed Brodie Nichol, son of the founder, as managing director to succeed Peter McCormick who is stepping down after more than 20 years in the role.

Mr Nichol has served the Edinburgh-based company as a director since joining in 2024 and is committed to continuing the group’s investment into modern systems for rostering, care planning and finance, enabling colleagues to spend more time on caring rather than administration.

He will be supported in his new role by Mr McCormick who becomes an adviser to the company’s board and will serve as a director during a transition period, along with Randolph Hill’s senior management team.

Mr Nichol’s late father, Elliot, founded the Randolph Hill Group in 1985. Since that time, the company has grown across central and east Scotland where it now owns and operates seven nursing homes.

The group provides residential nursing care for nearly 400 residents and employs over 700 staff.
