Sanral said Dumisani Maluleke, the Deputy CFO, has been acting in the CFO position and will support the transition, adding that its board “welcomes Ms Makukule to her new role”.
The business sector, government and other state-owned enterprises that deal with Sanral will be hoping Makukule’s appointment brings stability to the agency that has been in the spotlight over recent years, especially around its handling of tenders.
