Newspaper publisher DC Thomson is downsizing its head office and sub-letting two floors of the historic Dundee building.
The company, which publishes The Courier and the Aberdeen P&J, will remain the principal occupier of the landmark Meadowside building, occupying eight of the12 floors.
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has been instructed to market the remaining space.
The move follows DC Thomson’s redevelopment and refurbishment of the building, alongside changes in working patterns.
Dating from 1902, Meadowside is a 78,000 sq fr Category ‘B’ Listed property within Dundee’s central conservation area.
Prominently located overlooking Albert Square and The McManus, it is one of Dundee’s most recognisable commercial buildings and has been synonymous with DC Thomson for more than a century.
Following a substantial refurbishment programme completed in 2017, it combines heritage architecture with modern office facilities and collaborative workspaces.
It has accommodated other organisations over the years, with Blackadders law firm moving into the building in 2024.
