Maxim 3: new home for indoor golf

Nexgen Golf run by golf professional Chris Tierney is opening its second indoor golf site after taking space at Maxim Park at Eurocentral, Motherwell.

The company will occupy 1,800 sq ft of Maxim 3, adding to the range of health and fitness facilities onsite at the location, including  Mighty Rick’s gym run by boxing world champion Ricky Burns. There is also bike hire, yoga classes and a putting green at the Park.

Chris Tierney of Nexgen Golf said:  “After our refurbishment we will be delighted to be Lanarkshire’s very first 24/7 indoor golf centre. “

Nexgen will be partnering with launch monitor and simulator company Trackman. 

Commenting on the  growth of Maxim Park’s health and fitness offer Caroline Baillie, director of park Services, said Nexgen represents another important addition to the growing mix of businesses and amenities.

“We are confident Nextgen Golf will be a popular attraction, offering a year round experience for golfers of all abilities.”

Maxim Park, which has 756,000 sq ft of office and retail space close to the M8 motorway, is part of Eurocentral and is owned by Shelborn Asset Management. Occupiers include HSBC UK / first direct, Aviva, Balfour Beatty, Amey, Barratt, VMO2, T Clarke, Aureum DX, Wills Bros and Policy Expert.

HSA Retail acted on behalf of Maxim Park in the Nexgen letting.  Maxim Park’s office agents are MC2 and CBRE.
