Dentons sees 10% revenue growth to new record – Daily Business

Paul Jarvis: invested heavily

Dentons’ UK, Ireland and Middle East region has reported record revenue of £336 million for the year ended 30 April, up 10% year-on-year.

The result reflects the firm’s Golden Thread strategy of building deeper client relationships and winning a greater share of complex, multi-jurisdictional mandates, alongside continued investment in strategic practice areas and expansion in Ireland and the Middle East.

Since becoming UK, Ireland and Middle East CEO in 2021, Paul Jarvis has led the firm’s five-year strategy, focused on deepening client relationships and positioning itself as a preferred adviser to large businesses with complex legal needs across multiple geographies.

Under his leadership, revenues across the UK, Ireland and Middle East region have grown by more than 50%.

He said: “We’ve been more intentional about building deeper relationships with sophisticated clients and are now winning work that would have felt ambitious five years ago.”

All UK practice groups recorded revenue growth, with standout performances from banking (up 23%), regulatory and investigations (up 25%) and restructuring (up 33%).

Mr Jarvis added: “We’ve invested heavily in areas such as Regulatory and Investigations and Restructuring because clients tell us they expect an increasingly complex operating environment, with issues spanning jurisdictions, regulators and business functions. Our investments in these areas are now delivering strong growth.”
