Borders business centre sold in SOSE property review – Daily Business

A business centre in the Borders has been acquired by a workspace operator as part of a shift in South of Scotland Enterprise’s property strategy.

Corespace said it will continue operating Ettrick Riverside Business Centre as a hub for businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals.

The sale follows SOSE’s decision to step away from commercial landlord responsibilities and focus on its core mission of supporting economic growth, enterprise and community development across the region.

Ettrick Riverside is housed in a distinctive A-listed former Victorian mill on the banks of the Ettrick Water. It will be rebranded as ‘Corespace Selkirk at Ettrick’.

Corespace currently operates business centres in Ayr, Kilwinning, Kilmarnock and Dumfries, supporting hundreds of businesses through flexible office, co-working and meeting space solutions.

The company has established a reputation for revitalising historic buildings and creating vibrant business communities.

SOSE will continue to maintain a presence within the building, retaining office accommodation at the Centre as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting businesses across the region.
