Recruitment business Solutions Driven has been acquired by Groupe Adéquat, bringing together two family-owned companies.
Groupe Adéquat is active elsewhere in the Uk and in France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Canada. It continues to build its international presence through targeted acquisitions.
Glasgow-based Solutions Driven was founded by 1998 by Walter Speirs. His son Gavin is now chief executive. It employs more than 50 staff worldwide, servicing about 150 clients, and will continue to operate under its own brand, with its management team remaining in place.
The acquisition follows the recent opening of Groupe Adéquat’s London office.
Gavin Speirs, CEO of Solutions Driven, described the deal as a “special moment” for the company.

“Both my dad and I remain fully committed to the business and will stay central to the operations and the leadership of our firm.”
