Animal health diagnostics company MI:RNA has completed an oversubscribed funding round that raised $3.6m (£2.7m).
This second venture capital (VC) led financing follows a $4m Series A raise last year and involved existing investors NovaQuest, Kyoritsu Holdings Corporation, VANE (Angel Syndicate), Animal Health Angels, Equity Gap, Gabriel, Scottish Enterprise, as well as new investors Holstein UK and AniVC.

Expansion into America has been a huge success, with the opening of a new research lab facility at the University of Georgia in Athens last year. This has led to an expansion of development and validation work with even more collaborators.
Ryden enjoys strong year
Ryden has delivered one of its strongest years to date, completing more than 3.2 million sq ft of industrial transactions and £373m of investment deals across Scotland.
The results reflect the resilience of the market and the firm’s strengthened capability following its strategic partnership with Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).
The firm completed over 250 industrial deals, totalling c.3.275 million sq ft, securing its position as Scotland’s most active industrial agency.
Shopping mall deal
SpaceandPeople, the Glasgow-based shopping mall marketing group, has secured a new multi-year exclusive agreement in Berllin.
It will manage pop-up retailing, promotional, and experiential activities at Gropius Passagen, the city’s largest shopping centre.
The deal is through its subsidiary, POP Retail GmbH, and strengthens the existing relationship between SpaceandPeople and Pradera Lateral which manages the German mall.
