Begbies Traynor rebrands to reflect expansion – Daily Business

Begbies Traynor Group is rebranding to BTG Consulting to reflect its expanded range of financial and real estate advisory services.

The company will now market its operations under eight service lines, including restructuring, deal advisory, and property management, while formal insolvency appointments will use the BTG Begbies Traynor sub-brand and real estate advisory will operate as BTG Eddisons.

Following a decade of growth, the Group has evolved from its heritage in insolvency and restructuring to become a broad-based financial and real estate advisory business.

The rebrand follows its announcement last September to establish a new leadership structure for the business.

Mark Fry, CEO, said: “This change reflects the evolution of the group in recent years into a broad-based advisory business.”

Ric Traynor, executive chairman, added: “The evolution to BTG reflects the significant growth and development of the business in recent years and our plans to deliver our medium-term targets and beyond.”
