Moneyweb@Midday wins Best Internet Show at 2025 Telkom Radio Awards

Moneyweb added another major accolade to its growing list of achievements this year, with Moneyweb@Midday winning the Best Internet Show at the 2025 Telkom Radio Awards held on Saturday night at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Aired daily via livestream and podcast on Moneyweb, Moneyweb@Midday – presented by media specialist Jeremy Maggs – has become one of South Africa’s most trusted business and actuality programmes, delivering a clear, credible 30-minute news briefing. The show is produced by Helene Nieuwenhuis, with technical operations overseen by Edward Masache and transcription by Tracy Lyle.

This latest win rounds off what has been a landmark year for Moneyweb’s editorial team. In October, Van Niekerk was named Sanlam Financial Journalist of the Year, while Moneyweb’s Antoinette Slabbert won Property Feature Journalist of the Year at the Sapoa Excellence in Property Journalism Awards.
