Robert Paterson: opportunity

A former baggage handler at Aberdeen International Airport has been appointed operations director.

Robert Paterson joined the airport in 1998 and has held several roles including head of airside operations and, most recently, head of operations, helping to improve the passenger experience.

He will report directly to AGS’ chief operating officer, Ronald Leitch, who said: “Robert has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and a deep understanding of the operational challenges and opportunities at Aberdeen.

“His appointment comes at an exciting time as we continue to invest in infrastructure and sustainability initiatives that will shape the future of the airport.”

Mr Paterson said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team as we focus on delivering a safe, efficient, and world-class experience for our passengers and airline partners.”
