{"id":4495,"date":"2025-12-17T14:53:45","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T14:53:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=4495"},"modified":"2025-12-17T14:53:45","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T14:53:45","slug":"new-zimbali-marina-and-estate-planned-in-r20bn-rollout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=4495","title":{"rendered":"New Zimbali marina and estate planned in R20bn rollout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"textFreeArticle\">\n<p>A bold new R20 billion vision for the Zimbali development node was unveiled last week, promising jobs, homes and a game-changing marina at the Tongaat River mouth.<\/p>\n<p>Unveiled as Zimbali Vision 2030 by Kuwait-based developer IFA Hotels &amp; Resorts (IFAHR), the plans include the Zimbali Country Estate \u2013 set to launch in the first quarter of 2026 on the opposite side of the N2 from Zimbali Lakes \u2013 and the as-yet undated marina development.<\/p>\n<p>Listen\/read:<br \/>Kuwait-backed Zimbali Lakes project back on track<br \/>Ilembe Chamber boss on the North Coast property boom<br \/>Zimbali Lakes rakes in R280m in new sales<\/p>\n<p>Combined with IFAHR\u2019s initial investments into Zimbali Coastal Estate and Zimbali Lakes, the total investment would land at about R50 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Zimbali Country Estate will offer around 1 000 residential opportunities, ranging from Gentleman\u2019s Estates to farm-style acre plots, priced from under R1 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Zimbali Marina aims to transform the Tongaat River mouth into a tourism, leisure, hospitality, and lifestyle destination, featuring a swimmable, family-friendly shoreline.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While the number of units has yet to be confirmed, IFAHR said a portion of future sales revenue will be earmarked for long-term environmental sustainability and social responsibility.<\/p>\n<div class=\"visible-sm-block visible-xs-block m1010\">\n<div class=\"ad-container-wrapper\">\n<p>ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>CONTINUE READING BELOW<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to IFAHR, environmental stewardship is central to the developments, with plans for estuary rehabilitation, pollution control and biodiversity protection.
