It will cost the Treasury about \u00a3100 million and will be funded by a review of tax reliefs currently granted to businesses which \u201cdo not make a positive contribution to local communities, such as vape shops\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The Prime Minister said it was an indication that his government will \u201cback the businesses that people want to see in their communities\u201d rather than standing by while \u201ccherished venues have disappeared from our local high streets\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Burnham will also \u201ccrack down\u201d on businesses selling through online marketplaces which \u201cdo not comply with their tax obligations\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The rates cut will not apply to the very largest live music venues, with more details of which businesses are eligible to be announced in John Healey\u2019s first Budget in the autumn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Healey said: \u201cPubs, clubs and live music venues are at the heart of communities across the UK.
