A business centre in the Borders has been acquired by a workspace operator as part of a shift in South of Scotland Enterprise\u2019s property strategy.<\/p>\n
Corespace said it will continue operating Ettrick Riverside Business Centre as a hub for businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals.<\/p>\n
The sale follows SOSE\u2019s decision to step away from commercial landlord responsibilities and focus on its core mission of supporting economic growth, enterprise and community development across the region.<\/p>\n
Ettrick Riverside is housed in a distinctive A-listed former Victorian mill on the banks of the Ettrick Water. It will be rebranded as \u2018Corespace Selkirk at Ettrick\u2019.<\/p>\n
Corespace currently operates business centres in Ayr, Kilwinning, Kilmarnock and Dumfries, supporting hundreds of businesses through flexible office, co-working and meeting space solutions.<\/p>\n
The company has established a reputation for revitalising historic buildings and creating vibrant business communities.<\/p>\n SOSE will continue to maintain a presence within the building, retaining office accommodation at the Centre as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting businesses across the region.<\/p>\n Chief executive Jane Morrison-Ross said: \u201cFinding the right buyer was incredibly important to us.
