The total value of the firm\u2019s holdings across its trusts is now estimated at \u00a33.9bn based on recent London Stock Exchange filings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The lion\u2019s share of that gain is set to flow through Scottish Mortgage, the UK\u2019s largest investment trust, which holds more than 20% of its portfolio in Musk\u2019s space firm. Its stake, originally acquired for around $200 million (c. \u00a3150m), is expected to be worth \u00a33bn at the point of listing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The forthcoming flotation will also deliver meaningful gains for Baillie Gifford\u2019s smaller vehicles.
