Jobs have been saved at Scotland\u2019s biggest animation content provider after it was acquired by its major customer.<\/p>\n
Wild Child Animation, the Stirling-based studio and contractor, has been sold to Magic Light Pictures\u2019 wholly-owned Stirling Animation Studio via a pre-pack administration process.<\/p>\n
The deal saves 30 staff jobs. The company, which had a turnover in 2025 of \u00a35.7 million, also works with about 50 contractors. <\/p>\n
Since 2020, Wild Child Animation has created hours of content for leading partners such as Cartoon Network, Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros., BBC, and Sky.<\/p>\n
Magic Light Pictures is an Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning creator of family entertainment and producer behind Zog, a series based on the much-loved picture book. <\/p>\n
It stepped in to complete the production and keep the team together during the administration process.<\/p>\n
