Azets, the accountancy firm focused on small businesses, has hired a tax specialist from one its Big Four rivals. <\/p>\n
Catriona Donald joins from KPMG as a partner and head of the Azets employment tax team in Scotland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ms Donald has advised large corporates, private equity backed businesses and public sector clients during a near 30-year career, including 20 years with KPMG.<\/p>\n
She has delivered complex projects and strategic guidance across all areas of employment tax.<\/p>\n
Her role at Azets will be to lead the development of the employment tax service and advise clients on the increasingly complex and changing employment tax rules.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Azets tax practice in Scotland has enjoyed two years of strong growth with staffing now above 100.<\/p>\n
Ms Donald said: \u201cThe last two Budgets have propelled employment tax to the top of boardroom agendas as businesses grapple with a rising tax burden. I look forward to helping clients navigate new rules and manage their obligations as efficiently as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
