The jump in\u00a0energy prices\u00a0could increase build costs and lead to fewer interest rate cuts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Cladding fire safety provisions and competition commitments contributed to a plunge in profits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Despite revenue rising 13% to \u00a33.84 billion, pre-tax profit fell 54.3% to \u00a3146.5 million.
