The Lionesses will host Ukraine in their Women’s World Cup qualifier at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in June.<\/b><\/p>\n
Sarina Wiegman’s side will become the first England team to play at Everton’s new stadium on Tuesday, 9 June (20:00 GMT kick-off) since it opened last summer.<\/p>\n
Scotland are also facing the Ivory Coast at the stadium on 31 March to prepare for this summer’s men’s World Cup.<\/p>\n
Hill Dickinson Stadium is one of the host venues for Euro 2028 and is currently shortlisted as part of the UK bid for the 2035 Women’s World Cup.<\/p>\n
Two-time European champions England are bidding for a place at the 2027 Women’s World Cup and are in a qualifying group with Spain, Ukraine and Iceland.<\/p>\n
They take on Ukraine in Turkey next Tuesday (17:00 GMT), before welcoming Iceland to the City Ground on Saturday, 7 March (12:30 GMT).<\/p>\n
Their first meeting with defending champions Spain – who they beat in the Euro 2025 final – is on 14 April at Wembley Stadium.<\/p>\n

“We have always said that taking this team around the country is so important and we’re really looking forward to playing in front of fans in the north-west. <\/p>\n
