Zelenskyy describes talks as ‘difficult’ and accuses Russia of ‘dragging out negotiations’<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n

Zelenskyy<\/a> has described the talks with the US and Russia as \u201cdifficult\u201d and accused Russia of \u201ctrying to drag out negotiations\u201d when they could have reached the final stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a social media post, the Ukrainian president said:<\/p>\n

<\/svg>Yesterday there were meetings in different formats \u2013 both bilateral between Ukraine and the United States and multilateral formats. In particular, there were talks between Ukrainian, American, and Russian representatives \u2026 The Ukrainian delegation, together with the American team, also met with European representatives \u2013 from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We consider Europe\u2019s participation in the process indispensable<\/strong> for the successful implementation of entirely feasible agreements \u2013 Ukraine has no doubt that partners are capable of ensuring the constructiveness of the negotiation process and, therefore, a dignified result.<\/p>\n

Yesterday\u2019s meetings were indeed difficult,<\/strong> and we can state that Russia is trying to drag out negotiations that could already have reached the final stage.<\/strong> I thank the American side for its attention to detail and patience in conversations with the current representatives of Russia.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
