{"id":21853,"date":"2026-02-14T19:53:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-14T19:53:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=21853"},"modified":"2026-02-14T19:53:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T19:53:31","slug":"girl-17-who-died-after-three-car-crash-in-cwmbran-was-funny-kind-and-caring-wales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=21853","title":{"rendered":"Girl, 17, who died after three-car crash in Cwmbran was \u2018funny, kind and caring\u2019 | Wales"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">A 17-year-old girl who died in a collision involving three cars in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/uk\/wales\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\">Wales<\/a> was \u201cfunny, kind and caring\u201d, her brother said.<\/p>\n<p>Demi Edmunds was the sole pedestrian in the incident on the A4042 in Cwmbran, Torfaen, Wales, which occurred at about 12.25pm on Thursday, Gwent police said.<\/p>\n<p>The teenager from Caldicot was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Her brother Jake said in a tribute published by the force on Saturday: \u201cDemi was the best sister I could\u2019ve ever asked for. She was funny, kind and caring.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe and her were very close, she was like a best friend to me that I could trust with anything and everything, but she\u2019s no longer with us any more. Hopefully she\u2019s in heaven, somewhere better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police said the family has requested privacy to grieve.<\/p>\n<p>In a shared statement, the family said: \u201cDemi was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin and niece.
