Rubio takes aim at deindustrialisation, mass migration as risks to Europe<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n
Rubio<\/strong> says that deindustrialisation was \u201cnot inevitable,\u201d and a \u201cfoolish\u201d result of that post-war \u201cdelusion,\u201d as he called it.<\/p>\n He also says that \u201cmass migration is not, was not, some fringe concern of little consequences,\u201d<\/strong> as he warns it is \u201ctransforming and destabilising societies all across the west.\u201d<\/p>\n He says the need \u201cto gain control of our national borders\u201d is needed as part of that.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not an expression of xenophobia. It is not hate. It is a fundamental act of national sovereignty, and the failure to do so is not just an abdication of one of our most basic duties owed to our people. <\/em><\/p>\n It is an urgent threat to the fabric of our societies and the survival of our civilization itself.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
