Tuesday’s north Belfast derby between Crusaders and Cliftonville at Seaview has been postponed due to Storm Bram.<\/b><\/p>\n
An amber weather warning was put in place due to high winds in County Antrim from 14:00 GMT until 19:00 GMT – 45 minutes before the scheduled kick-off at Seaview.<\/p>\n
A yellow warning for wind remains in place for Belfast until 22:00 GMT on Tuesday. <\/p>\n
The Northern Ireland Football League said the game was called off “due to the impact of Storm Bram, following agreement by both clubs”.<\/p>\n
Crusaders have struggled this season and sit 10th in the table with 11 defeats in 18 league matches, and manager Declan Caddell called Saturday’s 4-0 home defeat by Portadown an “embarrassment” and a “disgrace”.<\/a><\/p>\n Jim Magilton’s Reds, who threw away a two-goal lead in Saturday’s draw with Glentoran, are sixth – eight points ahead of their rivals.<\/p>\n Tuesday’s game was set to be the first north Belfast derby in the Irish Premiership this season but Cliftonville beat Crusaders 2-0<\/a> in the County Antrim Shield in September.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
