Chelsea<\/a> (\u00a313.5m) and Manchester United<\/a> (\u00a327.5m) had modest outlays only in 2025.<\/p>\n Manchester City<\/a> have bucked the trends across the past two seasons as Pep Guardiola has tried to shake up his squad. <\/p>\n In 2025, he spent \u00a3188m on Nico Gonzalez, Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.<\/p>\n This winter saw an \u00a384m spend, this time on ready-made Premier League talent in Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi. <\/p>\n You have to go back to 2018 to find a winter window when the big six collectively spent a lot of money. <\/p>\n Deals included Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joining Arsenal<\/a> on deadline day from Borussia Dortmund, while Liverpool<\/a> snapped up Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.<\/p>\n Of a total Premier League outlay of \u00a3500m, the big six clubs were responsible for \u00a3322m of it. It was spread out, too. Arsenal<\/a>, at \u00a386m, were the biggest contributors (26.71%).<\/p>\n To compare with the 2023 window, Chelsea<\/a> were responsible for 73.39% of the big six’s \u00a3387.1m spend. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
