{"id":1727,"date":"2025-12-08T17:32:55","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T17:32:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=1727"},"modified":"2025-12-08T17:32:55","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T17:32:55","slug":"marble-hospitality-confirms-its-first-5-star-hotel-foray-in-sandton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=1727","title":{"rendered":"Marble Hospitality confirms its first 5-star hotel foray in Sandton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"textFreeArticle\">\n<p>Marble Hospitality, the group renowned for its premium dining and entertainment offerings, is expanding its portfolio with the launch of its first five-star luxury hotel at the Olympus development in Sandton.<\/p>\n<p>The Johannesburg-based group confirmed\u00a0the expansion\u00a0plans into the hotels sector last week, saying the 32-room establishment will form part of the Marble Hospitality collection.<\/p>\n<p>Read: With over R1.2bn in sales, Olympus Sandton breaks ground<\/p>\n<p>Construction on the hotel and the broader mixed-use development began in late November, with completion set for the end of 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The new venture is the result of a partnership with Tricolt Group, the developers behind Olympus Sandton \u2013 a new twin-tower residential project between Tricolt and JSE-listed Growthpoint Properties.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel will occupy two full floors of Tower 2 (Apollo), situated beneath the penthouses.<\/p>\n<div class=\"visible-sm-block visible-xs-block m1010\">\n<div class=\"ad-container-wrapper\">\n<p>ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>CONTINUE READING BELOW<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The hotel is said to represent the next evolution of the Marble brand, building on its established reputation for luxury dining in Johannesburg and Cape Town.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gary Kyriacou, Marble Hospitality founder and partner, said, \u201cThis new hotel represents our vision to redefine luxury accommodation in South Africa,\u201d bringing the group\u2019s experiential approach to accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>Operations director Dino Constantinou added that hotels are the \u201cpinnacle of hospitality\u201d for the group.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The property ownership is split 50\/50 between Marble Hospitality and Tricolt.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, Marble Hospitality retains complete control of the running and management of the hotel.
