US surpasses 1 million power outages<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n

Power outages across the country have now risen to over 1,000,000, according to PowerOutage.us<\/a>, as conditions continue to worsen.<\/p>\n

Tennessee is still currently reporting by far the largest number of outages with more than 330,000 homes and businesses affected.<\/p>\n

Outages in Mississippi have now surpassed 167,000. Louisiana has surpassed 140,000 outages. Other states are managing to stay below 100,000 for the time being.<\/p>\n
