Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau<\/a> have launched their relationship on Instagram, after the singer posted a photo of the pair smiling cheek to cheek and a video of them eating sushi together while in Japan.<\/p>\n Perry\u2019s post appeared to confirm the pair are in a relationship, after months of speculation about a possible romance<\/a> between her and the former Canadian prime minister.<\/p>\n The selfie was part of a carousel of photos and videos a trip to Japan<\/a>, posted on Saturday to the singer\u2019s account, which has 202 million followers.<\/p>\n Perry captioned the series \u201ctokyo times on tour and more\u201d, followed by a smiling face and several emojis, including flowers and a red heart.<\/p>\n The post comes after Trudeau reshared a photo on X on Thursday of the pair posing with Japan\u2019s former prime minister, Fumio Kishida, and his wife, Yuko.<\/p>\n When resharing the post, Trudeau wrote: \u201cGreat to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201chard launch<\/a>\u201d of Perry and Trudeau\u2019s relationship has been met with a range of comments online.<\/p>\n One fan commented on Instagram: \u201cOH CANADA!!!
