Spotify raised prices for its subscription plan in the U.S. for the third time in three years, as it hiked the monthly plan from $11.99 per month to $12.99 per month.<\/p>\n
The company sent an email to its paid users notifying them of the new price, which is applicable from the next monthly billing cycle.<\/p>\n \u201cOccasional updates to pricing across our markets reflect the value that Spotify delivers, enabling us to continue offering the best possible experience and benefit artists,\u201d the company said in a blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n In November 2025, the Financial Times<\/a> reported that the audio platform is set to raise prices in the U.S in the first quarter of 2026. According to the report, analysts from JPMorgan predicted that this hike could increase Spotify\u2019s revenue by $500 million.<\/p>\n The company has made similar hikes in markets like the U.K. and Switzerland last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n Spotify first hiked prices in the U.S. in 2023, going from $9.99 per month to $10.99 per month<\/a>.
