{"id":11902,"date":"2026-01-13T11:09:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T11:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=11902"},"modified":"2026-01-13T11:09:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T11:09:12","slug":"world-central-bank-chiefs-declare-support-for-us-fed-chair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=11902","title":{"rendered":"World central bank chiefs declare support for US Fed chair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Central banks across the world have joined together to declare that they stand in &#8220;full solidarity&#8221; with the Federal Reserve&#8217;s chair after the US launched a criminal investigation into Jerome Powell.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The heads of the Bank of England, the European Central Bank and the Bank of Canada are among 11 senior bankers who have signed a statement highlighting the importance of independence in setting interest rates.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">&#8220;Chair Powell has served with integrity, focused on his mandate and an unwavering commitment to the public interest,&#8221; they said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The Department of Justice is conducting the probe.
