{"id":11589,"date":"2026-01-12T11:37:45","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T11:37:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=11589"},"modified":"2026-01-12T11:37:45","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T11:37:45","slug":"ofcom-investigates-elon-musks-x-over-grok-ai-sexual-deepfakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microvibenews.com\/?p=11589","title":{"rendered":"Ofcom investigates Elon Musk&#8217;s X over Grok AI sexual deepfakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div data-component=\"text-block\">\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Ofcom has launched an investigation into Elon Musk&#8217;s X over concerns its AI tool Grok is being used to create sexualised images.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">In a statement, the UK watchdog said there had been &#8220;deeply concerning reports&#8221; of the chatbot being used to create and share undressed images of people, as well as &#8220;sexualised images of children&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">If found to have broken the law, Ofcom can potentially issue X with a fine of up to 10% of its worldwide revenue or \u00a318 million, whichever is greater.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The BBC has approached X for comment.
