‘Iran is not seeking war but is fully prepared for war’ – foreign minister<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n

We have some more comments from Iran\u2019s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi, who has been addressing foreign ambassadors in Tehran.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Islamic Republic of Iran is not seeking war but is fully prepared for war<\/strong>,\u201d he said, as he warned adversaries against any \u201cmiscalculation<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also ready for negotiations but these negotiations should be fair, with equal rights and based on mutual respect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Araghchi said Iran is \u201cmore prepared\u201d than during its 12-day war with Israel in June (when over 1,000 people were killed when Israel bombed Iran for nearly two weeks with almost complete impunity).<\/p>\n
