Other factors \u2013 such as disrupting their sector, entering new markets, investing in innovation, and strong employee engagement \u2013 will be crucial.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">TheBusinessDesk.com has launched the Scotland Business of the Year Awards to recognise the country\u2019s most successful and ambitious businesses. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The awards are supported by <em>Daily Business <\/em>and TheBusinessGrid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Entries are open until 16 January in 13 categories, including fast-growth businesses, international trade, investment and employers.
