DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin stated that the shooting occurred when ICE officers fired &#8220;defensive shots&#8221; in response to the woman &#8220;attempting to run over our law enforcement officers&#8221; with her vehicle.\n<\/p>\n<p>According to <i>ABC News<\/i>, <span class=\"interwiki-link-foreign\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jacob_Frey\" class=\"extiw\" title=\"w:Jacob Frey\">Jacob Frey<\/a><\/span>, the mayor of Minneapolis, said in a statement that he was aware of the shooting and urged the agency to depart the city at once.
